There are two opportunities for worship on Sunday mornings:
Traditional worship. We share the same liturgies of Lutheran churches everywhere. Scripture and preaching are at the center each service. An adult choir calls the congregation to worship and provides anthems during the service. Other participants in the service may include the handbell choir, children's choirs and other special groups as well. Holy Communion is served the first two Sundays of each month.
Contemporary Worship: The Contemporary Service using music led by a worship team consisting of vocalists, guitars, percussion and electric keyboard. Spirit-led music is selected from many sources. A projection system provides for easy participation of the congregation. Holy Communion is served the first two Sundays of each month.
6:15 PM Wednesday Evening
Join others for an abbreviated worship opportunity of song, scripture, message and Holy Communion every Wednesday evening. The service offers a blend of musical styles, from simple keyboard accompaniment to the sound of the BLC contemporary band. Come check out this 45 minute mid-week time of prayer and praise.
